Chocolate fondue dippers

The best chocolate fondue dippers not only taste great doused in creamy melted chocolate (and really, what doesn't?), but can also be speared with a fondue fork or dipped in the pot by hand. Those are pretty broad parameters and I know that too many options can be overwhelming, so I wrote this chocolate dippers list to guide and inspire you.

Trying some of the items on this list, particularly the savory dippers, might push you a little beyond your comfort zone. Just keep in mind that salty foods covered in milk chocolate, like chocolate-covered pretzels and even peanut-butter-and-chocolate snacks, are already pretty conventional in many places, so putting chocolate on potato chips or bacon isn’t really that “weird.”

As for putting chocolate on squid or crickets, I’ll leave that up to the more daring among you. Definitely send me a picture if you serve--and eat--anything that interesting at your next fondue party.

Of course, if you come up with new and interesting suggestions that you don’t see here, please share them!
